Our Drive To Rosslyn Chapel...

So we woke up this morning and headed towards the city center where we saw Hollyrood House (the official residence of the royals in Scotland). It was actually closed because they were in residence at the time, so we walked the length of the Royal Mile. We found a couple of really nice shops that sold antique maps that dated back over 100 years ago! Very expensive though. After we visited the city, we caught the bus back to the bed and breakfast and from there we drove to Rosslyn Chapel. This chapel was AMAZING! I have attached a few pictures that are above. The masonry work was absolutely unbelievable! After our visit to the chapel, we drove to Dalhousie Castle, which is where we stayed the last time we were in Scotland. We hiked through the forest and it began to rain pretty hard on us. We ate dinner at the Orangery Restaurant, and I ate haggis! We were driving back to our place of stay and were wearing sunglasses at 8:30pm! I love how light it stays because you have so much more time to enjoy your trip. Talk to you all later!

P.S. The statue in the pictures above is called the "William Wallace Monument". I attempted to climb it, but failed terribly!

Buddy (alias dude or honky),
You need to do more pull-ups on the door jams. Finger strength is the key. Hey. William Wallace. He has a good name huh!!! The country looks fabulous. How are the people? Are they easy going or very busy like us? You two continue to look like you are having a grand time. Enjoy.

I love the 'light until late' thing - that would be awesome. Kind of like Alaska. So does it get pretty gloomy in the winter (like dark all the time)?

The royals?? As in Prince Charles, etc.? Holy cow.

The Suns lost tonight (heavy sigh). I realize this is not a huge deal to you, but you need to take a moment of silence anyways. I'll wait.

Thanks. :)
What's next on the agenda?

HEY guys, Dan...quit abusing and vandalizing the pretty statues and monuments! Sheesh! Muahah. Looks like great fun you're having over there! Wish I was there too! Eat some haggis for me..Dan did you find that 'bier' you liked so much at Orangery last time we were there? I can't remember the name of it.

Anyhow, have fun and I love you guys!
